Usher's ex-wife reacts to report he paid $1.1 million to settle woman he infested with Herpes



It was widely reported yesterday that Usher secretly settled a million-dollar lawsuit after infecting a sex partner, a celebrity stylist named Maya Fox-Davis, with herpes when they had rigorous unprotected sex.
It has now been alleged that Maya was a bridesmaid during Usher's wedding with his ex-wife Tameka Foster - who has now reacted after people kept pushing her to make a comment. In a post on her Instagram page, she wrote;
"Do not come on my page discussing rumors or adult people that have NOTHING to do with me. I have been divorced 8 years... Some issues are not my business... ex husbands, ex friends, bitch-maids, snakes, hoes, characters, etc. Not my circus, not my clowns ... I'm good and my health (Everywhere is great?), well my right knee hurts and I need reading glasses but otherwise I'm awesome and enjoying the sun. Miss me with other grown folks crazy gossip.. Not my business at all. I'm living my bestest life. Always. Miss me with the bullshit. Thank you. Gwan na?"

Nigeria to supply 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts to US

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, has said Nigeria is set to supply 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts to the Walmart Super Market chain in the United States of America. He said the 130,000 cashew is valued at $7 billion. Chief Ogbeh said the US firm came to Nigeria to request for 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts and their demand is 130,000 tonnes of cashew nuts per annum, with a total value of $7 billion. “We are in conversations with Walmart, the biggest supermarket chain in the US. They came here and asked us to roast cashew nuts for them. “What Nigeria currently does is ship the nuts to Vietnam, which in turn roasts and sell to the US. Veteran news anchor, Jim Vance dies at 75 after long battle with cancer

Jim Vance, one of the first black major news anchors and Washington DC's longest serving local TV host has died at the age of 75 following a long battle with cancer. Station president and general manager, Jackie Bradford in a statement said, 'Jim Vance was not only the soul of NBC4 but of the entire Washington area. His smooth voice, brilliant mind and unforgettable laugh leaves each of us with a tremendous void'. Vance, who won more than a dozen Emmys, was one of the first African-American news anchors to host a show in a major news market in 1972. He became one of former president George H.W. Bush's fishing buddies and a confidante to the city's former mayor, Marion Barry, who died in 2014.

Minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed sheds light On FG's plan to stop movie and music production abroad

Minister of Information and Culture, Lia Mohammed, has shed more light on plans by the Federal government to stop entertainers and movie makers from shooting their jobs outside the shores of Nigeria. Last Saturday, Lai Mohammed disclosed this plan when he spoke at the  Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) House in Lagos. The Senate has confirmed eight Resident Electoral Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission . The Senate has confirmed eight Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC). The eight were among the remaining twelve nominees awaiting the confirmation of their appointments by the upper legislative house. The lawmakers had earlier approved the appointment of 15 others out of the 27 sent to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari. The confirmation is coming a day after the Senate made a u- turn on its earlier decision not to confirm any nominee from Acting President Yemi Osinbajo until all issues as regards confirmation of appointments are resolved. TRAGEDY: 14 people burnt to death as tanker collides with commercial bus

Witnesses say the dead, who were consumed in the inferno, include women and children. The accident was said to have occurred at about 12 noon in front of a fuel station, few metres away from the popular Mayfair roundabout. An 18-seater commercial bus heading from Ondo State to Ibadan collided with a diesel-filled tanker that was negotiating a U-turn on the way, witnesses said. It was learnt that on collision, the bus burst into flames, burning most of the passengers beyond recognition. Witnesses told journalists that the extent of damage resulted from the delayed arrival of rescue teams to the accident spot.
