BREAKING: Mobile policeman shot dead tanker driver in Apapa



A major crisis is currently brewing at the ever-busy Apapa area of Lagos State as a mobile policeman, attached to a bank ,on Wharf Road, in the area, shot dead a tanker driver on Wednesday morning.

Daily Sun can reliably report that scores of tanker drivers parked in the area have mobilised and threatening to burn down the bank.

A woman was shot dead by a US police officer after she called 911 to report hearing noise outside her house. Justine Damond, 40, an Australian woman due to get married next month, thought the noise might be a possible assault taking place outside her home, so she decided to get the police involved. Nigeria: 37 Feared Killed in Fresh Southern Kaduna Crisis

At least 37 people are feared killed and many others seriously injured in fresh crisis that broke out in Kajuru Local Government Area in Southern Kaduna. The latest trouble was said to have started since Sunday when some Fulani youths allegedly went to a village at Ugwan Uka to avenge the killing of their kinsman. Kajuru Local Government is about 50 kilometres from the state capital, Kaduna. The fresh killings show that the efforts by the government at the state and federal levels to check violence have not been effective. The umbrella body of Fulani, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria on Saturday alleged that four of its members were killed by youths from the troubled Southern Kaduna.
