Diamond Platumz babymama, Zari Hassan loses her mom just two months after losing her ex



East African singer, Diamond Platumz's babymama, Zari Hassan has lost her mom Halima Hassan. This is coming barely two months after the death of her ex-husband, Ivan Semwanga. Few weeks ago, Zari announced that her mom was critically ill and asked her fans to pray for her. She died in the early hours of today. May her soul rest in peace. 


Zari shared a picture of her mom on Instagram and wrote;
It's with deep sorrow that my family and I announce the death of our lovely mother who passed on this morning. May her soul rest in peace, May Allah forgive you your sins and grant you Jana.
You will forever be loved our Old Sun, us as your kids were given the best from God as our mother. We appreciate all you did for us. We will forever cherish you Mama.

Now, Etisalat Nigeria is changing its brand name to 9Mobile as part of the 3-weeks ultimatum given to it by the parent company to discontinue using the Etisalat brand name in Nigeria.

Lagos State Task Force Arrests Man Who Allegedly Kidnapped A 6-month-old Baby In Oshodi

The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force during an over-night patrol arrested a 31-year-old man who allegedly abducted a 6 months old baby girl, Darasimi Akinyemi at No 55, Oshodi Road, Oshodi, Lagos The Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force SP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that the suspect identified as Idama Endurance would have been lynched to death but the quick intervention of his men who were on duty saved the situations. The crisis rocking the Ohanaeze Ndigbo is far from over as the ‎Youth Council has issued a 7-day resignation notice to the publicity secretary of the apex-Igbo socio-cultural organization, Mr. Uche Achi-okpaga. Police speaks on Apapa mayhem, arrests cop who killed tanker driver

Lagos State Police Command has arrested the policeman, who allegedly shot a tanker driver dead along Burma Road, Apapa. The command said 18 suspected hoodlums who allegedly caused mayhem in the area following the killing have also been apprehended. TRAGEDY: 14 people burnt to death as tanker collides with commercial bus

Witnesses say the dead, who were consumed in the inferno, include women and children. The accident was said to have occurred at about 12 noon in front of a fuel station, few metres away from the popular Mayfair roundabout. An 18-seater commercial bus heading from Ondo State to Ibadan collided with a diesel-filled tanker that was negotiating a U-turn on the way, witnesses said. It was learnt that on collision, the bus burst into flames, burning most of the passengers beyond recognition. Witnesses told journalists that the extent of damage resulted from the delayed arrival of rescue teams to the accident spot. Nigerians should expect new data price soon – NCC

The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has said Nigerians should expect a new data price as soon as an on-going cost-based research is concluded. This was disclosed in Abuja by the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, Umar Garba Dambatta during a chat with DAILY POST. According to him, the commission had noticed that the level of data usage was growing across the country and there was need for an affordable and acceptable price floor for data. He said this was necessary in order to forestall a price war in the data sub-segment of the telecommunications industry.
