Groom Marries Bride Wearing Ordinary T-Shirt and Shorts After This Happened (Photo)



A friend of the groom shared the photo of him wearing a t-shirt and short while kissing his bride

A groom has been forced  by circumstance to wed his bride wearing just a t-shirt and shorts. This happened after Delta Airlines lost his luggage. On the t-shirt, he shared his predicament writing: 'This wedding suit is courtesy of Delta Airlines'.

According to Dailymail, the unidentified newlywed was on a flight from Washington DC to Iceland where his ceremony was due to take place, but his luggage somehow later turned up in Frankfurt.

Instead of buying a replacement suit, the man simply wore a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt, emblazoned with the barbed  message.

The image was submitted to Reddit by a friend of the bride and has since gone viral.

'Their flight from Washington DC was delayed, setting them up for a missed connection in New York,' Reddit user Zebidee explained.

'They were re-routed via Paris and Berlin, but despite constant contact with Delta Airlines to make sure their luggage wound up in the right place, the airline washed their hands of the situation.'

Nigerians criticise Senate for asking CBN to give dollars at N200 for pilgrimage

Hajj pilgrims The Nigerian Senate was heavily criticised by Nigerians on Thursday for asking the federal government to direct the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to supply dollars at N200 to those going on pilgrimage either to Saudi Arabia or Israel. If the government consents to the request, it means the allocation of foreign exchange for those planning to embark on the pilgrimage would be subsidised by about 37 per cent. Currently, the naira exchanges at about N315 to the dollar in the official window, as against about N365 to the dollar at the parallel market is. The request ignores the provisions in the approved Medium Term Expenditure Framework, MTEF, covering all expenditure plans for 2017, and the Appropriation Act, which was earlier approved by the lawmakers, prior to the assent by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo. Ambode casting his vote on Saturday The All Progressive Congress (APC) has won both the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections in Ward A6 polling Unit 033 located in Ogunmodede College, Papa Epe where the State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode voted on Saturday morning. At the end of counting of the votes cast, the results showed that the APC polled a total of 299 votes for the Chairmanship election as against one polled by the Labour Party and zero vote polled respectively by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and Accord Party. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, has said Nigeria is set to supply 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts to the Walmart Super Market chain in the United States of America. He said the 130,000 cashew is valued at $7 billion. Chief Ogbeh said the US firm came to Nigeria to request for 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts and their demand is 130,000 tonnes of cashew nuts per annum, with a total value of $7 billion. “We are in conversations with Walmart, the biggest supermarket chain in the US.
