No division between President Buhari, Vice President Osinbanjo and Ministers - Lai Mohammed


Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has denied speculations that there is rift between President Buhari, acting president Yemi Osinbajo and some Ministers. Lai refuted the speculation when he spoke with newsmen at the venue of an event organised by the Aviation Round Table, an industry pressure group, in Lagos.
“There is no division between the Acting President and the Cabinet, there is no division between the Acting President and Mr President,” he told newsmen
The Minister in his interview called on the media to be responsible in its reportage, particularly with reports that contain hate speeches. 
“Most of the people who consume these hate speeches don’t know much better, otherwise they will know that there is absolutely no truth in what is being circulated. All these talks about division, I think they are just fictions of the imagination but they have a purpose which is to weaken this government, to ensure that we are distracted and I’m happy that we as a government, we are resolved that this is a very trying time of Nigeria and we must all put in our best to ensure that this country remains one”he said

NYSC releases call-up letter for 2017 batch A, stream 2

The management of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has released call-up letters for 2017 Batch A stream II. Prospective corps members have been advised to print out call-up letter to know their state of deployment. This was contained in a statement by the scheme on their twitter page @NYSCHQNG on Wednesday evening. The statement reads: The “Judgement Day” has come. “All things being equal, you should be able to view your state of posting by 6PM today. “ Let the countdown begin! Japanese Airline Confirms Future BTC Payment Option In The Works

Peach Aviation, a low-cost airline in Japan, has confirmed that their plan to allow   Bitcoin (BTC)   as payment is only delayed, not cancelled. Peach Aviation had   initially announced in May 2017   that customers would be able to use Bitcoin as a payment method by the end of the year. However, in December 2017, the plan was postponed until March 2018. The airline had   partnered with crypto exchange BITpoint Japan   for the new BTC payment system as well as for plans to open Bitcoin ATMs at airports around Japan. Japan has   recognized Bitcoin as a legal payment   method in the country since April 2017. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, has said Nigeria is set to supply 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts to the Walmart Super Market chain in the United States of America. He said the 130,000 cashew is valued at $7 billion. Chief Ogbeh said the US firm came to Nigeria to request for 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts and their demand is 130,000 tonnes of cashew nuts per annum, with a total value of $7 billion. “We are in conversations with Walmart, the biggest supermarket chain in the US. COAS Tukur Buratai orders troop to capture Abubakar Shekau dead or alive within 40 Days

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has directed Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, the Theatre Commander, Operation Lafiya Dole, Maiduguri, to capture Abubakar Shekau, self-styled leader of the Boko Haram sect, “dead or alive” Buratai further directed the Theatre commander to do so within 40 days.
