Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte Signs 2Year Contract Extension



Good news for Chelsea fans! Antonio Conte has just signed a two-year contract extension with us that'll see him stay at Stamford Bridge till 2021.
Speaking to Chelsea FC's official website about his new contract, Conte said: "'I am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. We worked extremely hard in our first year to achieve something amazing, which I am very proud of. Now we must work even harder to stay at the top. The Chelsea fans have given me so much support since I arrived here one year ago and it is important we continue to succeed together."  






Last season, Conte took the Blues from tenth in the Premier League to the peak and to their fifth league title under Roman Abramovich.

Nigeria: 37 Feared Killed in Fresh Southern Kaduna Crisis

At least 37 people are feared killed and many others seriously injured in fresh crisis that broke out in Kajuru Local Government Area in Southern Kaduna. The latest trouble was said to have started since Sunday when some Fulani youths allegedly went to a village at Ugwan Uka to avenge the killing of their kinsman. Kajuru Local Government is about 50 kilometres from the state capital, Kaduna. The fresh killings show that the efforts by the government at the state and federal levels to check violence have not been effective. The umbrella body of Fulani, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria on Saturday alleged that four of its members were killed by youths from the troubled Southern Kaduna. The group had alleged that youths from Kadara and Gwari communities in Kajuru were responsible for the killings. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, said that the plot to Islamise Nigeria is real but would be resisted. Kanu said that no part of Nigeria within Biafra territory will be islamised in his life time. The IPOB leader said this while addressing a huge crowd of Biafra activists when he visited Nri, the ancestral home of Ndigbo. At Nri, Kanu, who was accompanied by his wife, visited the historic “Ohianwehi” revered as “forest of life” by Igbo tradition. It is believed that it was where the first burnt offering was scarified by the Jewish Igbo ancestors when they migrated from Israel about 300 years ago. The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force during an over-night patrol arrested a 31-year-old man who allegedly abducted a 6 months old baby girl, Darasimi Akinyemi at No 55, Oshodi Road, Oshodi, Lagos The Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force SP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that the suspect identified as Idama Endurance would have been lynched to death but the quick intervention of his men who were on duty saved the situations. Nigerian Military Denies Alleged Planned Coup Against Acting President Osinbajo

The Nigerian military has denied an alleged coup plot against Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.  Instead, it restated its loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the country’s Commander-in-Chief, as well as other political officers including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.  In a statement on Thursday, July, 13, by Major General John Enenche, director of defence information, the military frowned against a report that recently warned the security agencies against supporting a planned coup by the cabal against Osinbajo.  The statement urged Nigerians to see the report as false. Court orders interim forfeiture of Madueke’s property

Former Minister of Petroleum, Alison-Madueke A Federal High Court Lagos on Wednesday ordered the temporary forfeiture of a $37.5 million property on Banana Island, Lagos, and millions of naira and dollars belonging to ex-Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke. The property, situated on the island, was allegedly purchased for the sum of $37.5 million in 2013 by Alison-Madueke. The house is at 3, Block B, Bella Vista, Plot 1, Zone N, Federal Government Layout, Banana Island, Foreshore Estate. The vacation judge, Justice Chuka Obiozor, issued the temporary forfeiture orders following an ex parte application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The ex parte application was brought pursuant to Section 17 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, No. 14, 2006 and Section 44 (2) (k) of the Constitution.
