BREAKING: Budget: Osinbajo proposes N135.6bn virement



Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has submitted a virement proposal of N135.6 billion to the National Assembly.

The money, if approved, it was gathered, will cover projects across many MDAs, particularly the Ministry of Power/Works/Housing.

Obasanjo reveals why God made Donald Trump US President

Plot To Islamise Nigeria Is Real – Nnamdi Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, said that the plot to Islamise Nigeria is real but would be resisted. Kanu said that no part of Nigeria within Biafra territory will be islamised in his life time. The IPOB leader said this while addressing a huge crowd of Biafra activists when he visited Nri, the ancestral home of Ndigbo. At Nri, Kanu, who was accompanied by his wife, visited the historic “Ohianwehi” revered as “forest of life” by Igbo tradition. It is believed that it was where the first burnt offering was scarified by the Jewish Igbo ancestors when they migrated from Israel about 300 years ago. Man Bags 16 Years Jail Term For Killing 21 Cats...

A Santa Clara County Superior Court judge has sentenced a 26-year-old California man to 16 years in prison for killing 21 cats, some of which he lured from people's homes. Robert Roy Farmer pleaded guilty last year to 21 felony counts of animal cruelty and one count each of misdemeanor battery and being under the influence. The cats began mysteriously disappearing from San Jose's Cambrian Park neighborhood in September 2015. Then cats began turning up dead, the Mercury News of San Jose reported Friday Farmer was found Oct. 8, 2015 in a Home Depot parking lot, sleeping in his car with a dead cat curled up in the center console. A WAEC candidate from Enugu State, Ali Cynthia Chineche has made 9 A1 in all 9 subjects she sat for in the just released West African Senior School Certificate Examiniation, WASSCE. Last year, a similar result was recorded when a candidate from Kaduna State came out with A1 in all registered subject in the Exam. The results released by WAEC earlier in the week saw the Enugu student making an express A1 in all her nine subjects. Sharing the news, Cynthia’s teacher, Chibulu Austin wrote on Facebook, “Last year was someone from Kaduna state with nine A1’s. “Today we have produced, and I am very much proud teaching this lovely and wonderful lady in a great citadel of learning. “Let the result talk for itself.
