Spokesman for Donald Trump's legal team, Mark Corallo has resigned



Mark Corallo has resigned from his position as spokesman and communications strategist for President Donald Trump's legal team.
His resignation comes after weeks of tension between the White House and the President's legal team.

In recent weeks, Trump has said that his legal team has not done enough to beat back allegations linked to the federal investigations into Russian efforts to influence last year's election. 

The legal team has also complained about the President and the White House's response to revelations concerning the Russia probe including the President's refusal to heed their advice not to publicly discuss or tweet about the Russia investigation and with the White House's handling of reports connected to the probe.

At the moment, President Trump is reshuffling his legal team as special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation moves ahead with his investigation.

John Heard, Home Alone Actor Dies At 72

Heard was found dead in a hotel by the maid service ... according to family sources. Police were called to the hotel for a report of a medical emergency, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner is investigating, and cause of death is unclear at this time ... but police do not suspect foul play. We do know this ... according to his rep, John had "minor back surgery" Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center, and he was staying at the hotel while he recovered. Heard's most iconic role was as Peter McCallister, the dad in the "Home Alone" movies. He also had roles in "Big," "Beaches," "Gladiator" and "Pelican Brief" -- to name just a few -- and also a slew of TV roles on "Miami Vice," "The Sopranos" ... and even the first "Sharknado." John was 71.

A WAEC candidate from Enugu State, Ali Cynthia Chineche has made 9 A1 in all 9 subjects she sat for in the just released West African Senior School Certificate Examiniation, WASSCE. Last year, a similar result was recorded when a candidate from Kaduna State came out with A1 in all registered subject in the Exam. The results released by WAEC earlier in the week saw the Enugu student making an express A1 in all her nine subjects. Sharing the news, Cynthia’s teacher, Chibulu Austin wrote on Facebook, “Last year was someone from Kaduna state with nine A1’s. “Today we have produced, and I am very much proud teaching this lovely and wonderful lady in a great citadel of learning. “Let the result talk for itself. Police speaks on Apapa mayhem, arrests cop who killed tanker driver

Lagos State Police Command has arrested the policeman, who allegedly shot a tanker driver dead along Burma Road, Apapa. The command said 18 suspected hoodlums who allegedly caused mayhem in the area following the killing have also been apprehended. TRAGEDY: 14 people burnt to death as tanker collides with commercial bus

Witnesses say the dead, who were consumed in the inferno, include women and children. The accident was said to have occurred at about 12 noon in front of a fuel station, few metres away from the popular Mayfair roundabout. An 18-seater commercial bus heading from Ondo State to Ibadan collided with a diesel-filled tanker that was negotiating a U-turn on the way, witnesses said. It was learnt that on collision, the bus burst into flames, burning most of the passengers beyond recognition. Witnesses told journalists that the extent of damage resulted from the delayed arrival of rescue teams to the accident spot. Veteran actor, Adebayo Faleti is dead

A renown Yoruba veteran actor, broadcaster, poet and writer, Chief Adebayo Faleti has passed away. Adebayo, an old student of Ibadan Boys High School died Sunday morning at University College Hospital, Ibadan at about 6. am according to sources. Chief Adebayo who happened to be one of the pioneer staff of the first television station in Africa, Western Nigeria Television (WNTV) died at the age of 86. He was responsible for translating Nigeria’s National Anthem from English to Yoruba. He also translated speeches being made by military president of Nigeria Ibrahim Babangida and Chief Ernest Shonekan, Head of National Interim Government of Nigeria, from English to Yoruba.
