'I Don't Operate Any Facebook Account' - Lagos Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni



The spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole has informed the general public to beware of fraudulent people who operate fake Facebook account in the name of the state commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni.
He said the police boss is not a social media fanatic and he does not have anything to do with the fake accounts in his name on Facebook.
Famous-Cole then warned those behind the criminal act to desist or face the full wrath of the law.
Hiss tatement reads:
'This is to inform the general public that the Lagos state commissioner of police, CP Fatai Owoseni does not operate a facebook account.
It is necessary to inform the public about this, so as to avoid any fraudulent activities through any claim of a Facebook account operated by the Lagos state commissioner of police.
Those involved in such fraudulent acts are hereby warned to desist from such deviant behaviour or face the full wrath of the law'.

Police speaks on Apapa mayhem, arrests cop who killed tanker driver

Lagos State Police Command has arrested the policeman, who allegedly shot a tanker driver dead along Burma Road, Apapa. The command said 18 suspected hoodlums who allegedly caused mayhem in the area following the killing have also been apprehended. Unpaid Salaries: Benue State Civil Servant And Father Of 3 Resort To Hawking Groundnut To Survive

Mr Godwin Oga, a 46 year old staff of Benue State Environmental Sanitation Agency (BENSESA) has resorted to hawking groundnuts on the streets of Makurdi, the state capital. Full list of Anti-malaria drugs banned by Senate

The Nigerian Senate has listed about 42 anti-malaria drugs that have been banned in Europe but are still sold in hospitals and pharmacies in Nigeria. The lawmakers raised the alarm that all the forty two anti-malaria drugs were still being stockpiled, sold and consumed in the country. Hence, the Senate has mandated its Committee on Health (Secondary and Tertiary), led by Senator Olarewaju Tejuoso, to urgently carry out a holistic investigation into the matter and report back for further action.
