Groom Marries Bride Wearing Ordinary T-Shirt and Shorts After This Happened (Photo)



A friend of the groom shared the photo of him wearing a t-shirt and short while kissing his bride

A groom has been forced  by circumstance to wed his bride wearing just a t-shirt and shorts. This happened after Delta Airlines lost his luggage. On the t-shirt, he shared his predicament writing: 'This wedding suit is courtesy of Delta Airlines'.

According to Dailymail, the unidentified newlywed was on a flight from Washington DC to Iceland where his ceremony was due to take place, but his luggage somehow later turned up in Frankfurt.

Instead of buying a replacement suit, the man simply wore a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt, emblazoned with the barbed  message.

The image was submitted to Reddit by a friend of the bride and has since gone viral.

'Their flight from Washington DC was delayed, setting them up for a missed connection in New York,' Reddit user Zebidee explained.

'They were re-routed via Paris and Berlin, but despite constant contact with Delta Airlines to make sure their luggage wound up in the right place, the airline washed their hands of the situation.'

Lagos state government hands over teachers accused of sexual abuse of students to police

 teachers of Nazareth Junior/Senior College, Ibowon, Epe who were alleged to have defiled some students of the school have been handed over to the Police by the Lagos State Government. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr. Adesina Odeyemi, who disclosed this in his office, said that the arrest was effected following the confession by the teachers to sexual abuse at a Personnel Management Board (PMB) meeting set up by the Ministry on the issue. Argentinian artist Marta Minujín, 74, has created a monumental replica of the Greek Parthenon from 100,000 copies of banned books. According to the artist, it symbolizes the resistance to political repression. The Parthenon of Books in Kassel, Germany is part of the Documenta 14 art festival. FG seeks more input into civil service reforms

The Federal Government is receiving more inputs from civil societies and other stakeholders to strengthen the National Strategy for Public Service Reforms (NSPSR). This was disclosed yesterday in Abuja by the Director-General of the Bureau for Public Service Reforms (BPSR) Dr Joe Abah at the Revalidation Session of the NSPSR. He said the reforms was first articulated and completed in 2009 as a coordinating mechanism for integrated reforms but articulated recent issues like the Treasury Single Account (TSA) and improvement in the budgeting system. According to him, although key aspects of the strategy have been implemented, it has never formally been approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC). The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF) Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita who is the Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee on the reforms, said it was aimed at developing and deepening the capacity of government to consistently translate national strategic intents into action....
