Chelsea, Real Madrid in advanced negotiations for Morata



Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata, is close to completing a €80million move to Chelsea.

Spanish publication, Marca, reports that both clubs are in “advanced negotiations” over the player’s transfer.

Morata had previously been a target for Manchester United, but the arrival of Romelu Lukaku at Old Trafford, saw him travel with Madrid for pre-season training in the US.

Although AC Milan have also shown an interest, the 24-year-old now appears poised to join the Premier League champions.

It is believed the deal will be wrapped up by next week, to end manager Antonio Conte’s search for a top-class striker.

Nigerians should expect new data price soon – NCC

The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has said Nigerians should expect a new data price as soon as an on-going cost-based research is concluded. This was disclosed in Abuja by the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, Umar Garba Dambatta during a chat with DAILY POST. According to him, the commission had noticed that the level of data usage was growing across the country and there was need for an affordable and acceptable price floor for data. He said this was necessary in order to forestall a price war in the data sub-segment of the telecommunications industry. Dambatta disclosed that the commission was looking at other temporary measures in other to ensure that data services improved. He said: “We have noticed that the level of data usage is growing. Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte Signs 2Year Contract Extension

Good news for  Chelsea  fans!  Antonio Conte  has just signed a two-year contract extension with us that'll see him stay at Stamford Bridge till 2021. Speaking to Chelsea FC's official website about his new contract, Conte said: "'I  am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, has said Nigeria is set to supply 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts to the Walmart Super Market chain in the United States of America. He said the 130,000 cashew is valued at $7 billion. A 27-year-old woman from Nkumba Central, Wakiso District of Uganda has been found dead with stick stock in her private part. Residents of the area were left in shock yesterday after the body of the lady, identified as Rose Nakimuli, was found dumped at a banana plantation naked and a stick inserted in her private part.
