Spokesman for Donald Trump's legal team, Mark Corallo has resigned



Mark Corallo has resigned from his position as spokesman and communications strategist for President Donald Trump's legal team.
His resignation comes after weeks of tension between the White House and the President's legal team.

In recent weeks, Trump has said that his legal team has not done enough to beat back allegations linked to the federal investigations into Russian efforts to influence last year's election. 

The legal team has also complained about the President and the White House's response to revelations concerning the Russia probe including the President's refusal to heed their advice not to publicly discuss or tweet about the Russia investigation and with the White House's handling of reports connected to the probe.

At the moment, President Trump is reshuffling his legal team as special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation moves ahead with his investigation.

Nigeria: 37 Feared Killed in Fresh Southern Kaduna Crisis

At least 37 people are feared killed and many others seriously injured in fresh crisis that broke out in Kajuru Local Government Area in Southern Kaduna. The latest trouble was said to have started since Sunday when some Fulani youths allegedly went to a village at Ugwan Uka to avenge the killing of their kinsman. Kajuru Local Government is about 50 kilometres from the state capital, Kaduna. The fresh killings show that the efforts by the government at the state and federal levels to check violence have not been effective. The umbrella body of Fulani, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria on Saturday alleged that four of its members were killed by youths from the troubled Southern Kaduna. Lagos builds road to connect Ikorodu with Lagos-Ibadan expressway

The Lagos state government says it has started the construction of the road project that would link the Agric area of Ikorodu to Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Akinwunmi Ambode, the state governor, said this on Tuesday at a stakeholders’ meeting on the road. He said it would cut through the Arepo area of Ogun state, PUNCH reports. Represented by Rotimi Ogunleye, the state commissioner for commerce, industries and cooperatives, the governor said the state has also approved the reconstruction of Igbe/Igbogbo/Bola Tinubu network of roads. He added that the road would be a dual carriageway and would also serve as another link to Sagamu. “The Agric-Isawo-Konu-Arepo Road will have a link bridge that will connect the state to the Ogun State boundary, which will link the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway,” Ambode said. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, has said Nigeria is set to supply 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts to the Walmart Super Market chain in the United States of America. He said the 130,000 cashew is valued at $7 billion. Chief Ogbeh said the US firm came to Nigeria to request for 130,000 tonnes of roasted cashew nuts and their demand is 130,000 tonnes of cashew nuts per annum, with a total value of $7 billion. “We are in conversations with Walmart, the biggest supermarket chain in the US. They came here and asked us to roast cashew nuts for them. “What Nigeria currently does is ship the nuts to Vietnam, which in turn roasts and sell to the US. This year, we are going to create six cashew processing factories in Nigeria, each to be cited in Enugu, Imo, Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Oyo states. These are the cashew belts for now. Heard was found dead in a hotel by the maid service ... according to family sources. Police were called to the hotel for a report of a medical emergency, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner is investigating, and cause of death is unclear at this time ... but police do not suspect foul play. We do know this ... according to his rep, John had "minor back surgery" Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center, and he was staying at the hotel while he recovered.
