BREAKING: Mobile policeman shot dead tanker driver in Apapa



A major crisis is currently brewing at the ever-busy Apapa area of Lagos State as a mobile policeman, attached to a bank ,on Wharf Road, in the area, shot dead a tanker driver on Wednesday morning.

Daily Sun can reliably report that scores of tanker drivers parked in the area have mobilised and threatening to burn down the bank.

Reality star, Blac Chyna was on the cover People magazine with her daughter, Dream where she opened up on why she moved out of Kylie Jenner house.  Blac Chyna moved in with Rob Kardashian into Kylie Jenner's house few weeks after she gave birth to Dream but moved out barely a week after. According to her, she swallowed her pride and moved in because of Rob but had to move out after she got disrespected.  “About a month after Dream was born, I moved in with Rob at Kylie’s house for about a week. I put my pride aside — and I’m very prideful. I was like, ‘You know what? I actually want to be with this person. FG seeks more input into civil service reforms

The Federal Government is receiving more inputs from civil societies and other stakeholders to strengthen the National Strategy for Public Service Reforms (NSPSR). This was disclosed yesterday in Abuja by the Director-General of the Bureau for Public Service Reforms (BPSR) Dr Joe Abah at the Revalidation Session of the NSPSR. He said the reforms was first articulated and completed in 2009 as a coordinating mechanism for integrated reforms but articulated recent issues like the Treasury Single Account (TSA) and improvement in the budgeting system. According to him, although key aspects of the strategy have been implemented, it has never formally been approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC). The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF) Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita who is the Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee on the reforms, said it was aimed at developing and deepening the capacity of government to consistently translate national strategic intents into action....

Parthenon Of Books: Artist Uses 100,000 Banned Books To Build A Full-Size Parthenon At Historic Nazi Book Burning Site

Argentinian artist Marta Minujín, 74, has created a monumental replica of the Greek Parthenon from 100,000 copies of banned books. According to the artist, it symbolizes the resistance to political repression. The Parthenon of Books in Kassel, Germany is part of the Documenta 14 art festival. With the help of students from Kassel University, Minujín identified over 170 titles that were or are banned in different countries around the world, and constructed the full-size replica of the iconic temple from those books, plastic sheeting, and steel. But probably what is Germany's most controversial book – Adolf Hitler's “Mein Kampf” – will not figure on the Parthenon. And for a good reason: the Nazis were notorious censors of books. Boko Haram Suicide Bombers Attack Two IDP Camps In Borno, Kill 7

Suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers last night attacked two IDP camps in Dalori, Borno state killing at least seven persons. According to eyewitnesses, the first attack happened at about 9pm last night while the second bomb attack happened in the early hours of today. Three persons were killed in the first attack while four otrhers were killed in the second one. 15 other IDPs sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatement at the state general hospital.
