Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte Signs 2Year Contract Extension



Good news for Chelsea fans! Antonio Conte has just signed a two-year contract extension with us that'll see him stay at Stamford Bridge till 2021.
Speaking to Chelsea FC's official website about his new contract, Conte said: "'I am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. We worked extremely hard in our first year to achieve something amazing, which I am very proud of. Now we must work even harder to stay at the top. The Chelsea fans have given me so much support since I arrived here one year ago and it is important we continue to succeed together."  






Last season, Conte took the Blues from tenth in the Premier League to the peak and to their fifth league title under Roman Abramovich.

A communication expert, Mr Olalekan Ajia, says good social media behaviour can aid the performance of students in schools. Ajia, a former Communication for Development Specialist at the United Nations, said this on Saturday at the 21st Annual Lecture of Ijebu Muslim College Old Students’ Association (IMCOSA) in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun. The lecture entitled, “ Influence of Social Media on Youth Education; Issues and Challenges,’’ looked at ways of checking abuse of the social media by youths. Biafra: Igbos can’t exist on their own – Ohanaeze chieftain

Anambra State chapter of pan Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, has dismissed the call for secession, saying Igbos cannot afford to exist alone. Speaking in Awka, the state capital, President of Ohaneze in the state, Chief Damian Okeke, explained that Igbos can’t leave Nigeria because they have investments all over the country. Okeke said rather than call for secession, agitators should use their pro-Biafra stand as a platform to demand a better life for people of the South East. He insisted that Igbo leaders will not support agitation that may lead to war. Okeke noted that anybody who witnessed the Civil War like he did, would not want to experience another war. Victoria Beckham has been called out by the design director at Land Rover after she claimed she designed a special edition of the Range Rover for her husband David Beckham. At the launch of a special VB Evoque, the former Spice Girl claimed: "I’ve designed a car that I want to drive, a car I think David wants to drive." This claim incensed Gerry McGovern, the real designer, and he addressed it at a public event last week. The Director-General of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, NACA, Sani Aliyu, said with the feat, the country has crossed the “tipping point” for the epidemic. John Heard, Home Alone Actor Dies At 72

Heard was found dead in a hotel by the maid service ... according to family sources. Police were called to the hotel for a report of a medical emergency, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner is investigating, and cause of death is unclear at this time ... but police do not suspect foul play. We do know this ... according to his rep, John had "minor back surgery" Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center, and he was staying at the hotel while he recovered. Heard's most iconic role was as Peter McCallister, the dad in the "Home Alone" movies. Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has stated the country is already out of recession “to an extent.” She said this while speaking on African Independent Television (AIT). “We are out, we’re out to an extent and we hope that the figures will reflect the fact that we’re out. Some senators, including Shehu Sani, Danjuma Goje, Dino Melaye, and Usman Bayero Nafada among others accompanied Senator Andy Uba to pick up the Anambra State governorship forms.
