No division between President Buhari, Vice President Osinbanjo and Ministers - Lai Mohammed


Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has denied speculations that there is rift between President Buhari, acting president Yemi Osinbajo and some Ministers. Lai refuted the speculation when he spoke with newsmen at the venue of an event organised by the Aviation Round Table, an industry pressure group, in Lagos.
“There is no division between the Acting President and the Cabinet, there is no division between the Acting President and Mr President,” he told newsmen
The Minister in his interview called on the media to be responsible in its reportage, particularly with reports that contain hate speeches. 
“Most of the people who consume these hate speeches don’t know much better, otherwise they will know that there is absolutely no truth in what is being circulated. All these talks about division, I think they are just fictions of the imagination but they have a purpose which is to weaken this government, to ensure that we are distracted and I’m happy that we as a government, we are resolved that this is a very trying time of Nigeria and we must all put in our best to ensure that this country remains one”he said

APC records Landslide Victory In Ambode’s Polling Unit

Ambode casting his vote on Saturday The All Progressive Congress (APC) has won both the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections in Ward A6 polling Unit 033 located in Ogunmodede College, Papa Epe where the State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode voted on Saturday morning. At the end of counting of the votes cast, the results showed that the APC polled a total of 299 votes for the Chairmanship election as against one polled by the Labour Party and zero vote polled respectively by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and Accord Party. For the Councillorship election in the unit, the APC polled a total of 293 votes as against one polled by Labour Party and zero polled by PDP. In the second polling unit in the ward, APC polled 298 votes for the Chairmanship election as against zero vote polled by the PDP and Labour. Woman raped, murdered with stick inserted in her private part [PHOTOS]

A 27-year-old woman from Nkumba Central, Wakiso District of Uganda has been found dead with stick stock in her private part. Residents of the area were left in shock yesterday after the body of the lady, identified as Rose Nakimuli, was found dumped at a banana plantation naked and a stick inserted in her private part. According to Daily Monitor, this comes barely three days after a 17- year-old girl, Norah Wayana was discovered killed in the same manner and body dumped in a banana plantation near her parent’s home in the same area.
