Vice President Osinbanjo Jets Out To London For A Brief Meeting With President Buhari


According to Laolu Akande, the Senior Assistant on Media and Publicity to the acting president, the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo this evening departed the country to London for a brief meeting with Pres. Buhari who's recuperating in the UK and is expected back in Abuja immediately.

Mr Laolu disclosed the information on Twitter.

A Santa Clara County Superior Court judge has sentenced a 26-year-old California man to 16 years in prison for killing 21 cats, some of which he lured from people's homes. Nigeria: 37 Feared Killed in Fresh Southern Kaduna Crisis

At least 37 people are feared killed and many others seriously injured in fresh crisis that broke out in Kajuru Local Government Area in Southern Kaduna. The latest trouble was said to have started since Sunday when some Fulani youths allegedly went to a village at Ugwan Uka to avenge the killing of their kinsman. Kajuru Local Government is about 50 kilometres from the state capital, Kaduna. The fresh killings show that the efforts by the government at the state and federal levels to check violence have not been effective. The umbrella body of Fulani, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria on Saturday alleged that four of its members were killed by youths from the troubled Southern Kaduna. The group had alleged that youths from Kadara and Gwari communities in Kajuru were responsible for the killings. Boko Haram Suicide Bombers Attack Two IDP Camps In Borno, Kill 7

Suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers last night attacked two IDP camps in Dalori, Borno state killing at least seven persons. According to eyewitnesses, the first attack happened at about 9pm last night while the second bomb attack happened in the early hours of today. Three persons were killed in the first attack while four otrhers were killed in the second one. 15 other IDPs sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatement at the state general hospital.
